Nova is a group of English conversation schools operated by G.education. Nova offers language services to students of all ages and ability through its three main brands—branch lessons, Multimedia Center lessons (lessons taught over a videoconferencing system) and Nova Kids.
Nova is dedicated to offering high quality language instruction. Students want not only the opportunity to increase their proficiency in the foreign language of their choice, but also to interact with people from different cultures. In addition to general conversation lessons, Nova offers courses for students studying for specific English tests, such as TOEIC® or TOEFL®, and also for students studying for specific purposes, such as business or travel.

To supplement classroom lessons, most branches offer a conversation room known as Voice, which provides students with an opportunity to become accustomed to communicating naturally in a second language. The Voice Room offers a regular program of topics, activities and events directly related to the needs and interests of all students.

Diplomat is the name of the series of textbooks and teaching approach that is used by English and Chinese language students at Nova. The instructor uses the text in tandem with a set of Lesson Management Plans (LMPs) which suggest approaches to the lesson, facilitating smooth lesson planning and presentation. Diplomat features full-color units with attractive pictures and drawings. It has been designed to meet the needs of students studying not only within Nova but also those studying independently in Japan or in other countries. As such the material is varied and relevant to many different kinds of student interests and study needs. At the lower levels, units cover a range of situations commonly encountered when traveling (on business or on vacation) and topics frequently discussed between friends and acquaintances. At the higher levels, units present topics such as politics and environmental issues, and complex situations requiring greater amounts of tact and politeness. Language commonly used in a given situation is presented on the unit page for the students to study.
